This blend opens with aromas of cherry and strawberry. The nose is mirrored on the palate and accentuated with notes of cocoa, coffee, and sweet tobacco. This unique blend is well balanced with a long, lingering finish.

Vineyard Notes
The fruit for this wine is grown in our acclaimed estate Spice Cabinet and Eagle & Plow Vineyards in the Horse Heaven Hills. The fruit is exposed to dappled sunlight, allowing for uniform ripening and flavor development. Well balanced crop levels have allowed us to create wines with great depth and concentrtion.
Production Notes
These grapes were harvested and sorted in the vineyards with our "Selective Harvester" to allow for maximum hangtime and flavor development. The fruit was not crushed in order to preserve as much whole berry as possible. We fermented the fruit in stainless steel tanks with twice daily pumpovers to allow gentle extraction of color and tannins. After fermentation, the wine was racked to 37% new French oak and 13% new American oak barrels for malolactic fermentation. The wine was barrel aged for 20 months.
