2023 Good Day Reserve Chardonnay
This wine is elegant and inviting, showcasing an enticing blend of ripe apple and pear, followed by layers of lush peach and tropical passionfruit. The fruit-forward aromas are present on the palate and complemented by a subtle hint of butter richness that adds roundness without overpowering the fresh fruit flavors. The acidity provides a clean finish that nicely balances the fruit and buttery richness.

The fruit for this wine is grown at our estate Eagle & Plow Vineyard in the acclaimed Horse Heaven Hills.
Production Notes
The grapes were harvested in the very early hours of the morning so they would arrive to the winery cool. Once at the winery, the grapes went directly to the press where the juice was gently pressed away from the skins and allowed to cold settle for two days before racking off lees. It was inoculated with a Chardonnay Fermol yeast and allowed to ferment cool over 30 days. 100% of this blend was fermented in barrel to add rich mouthfeel and complexity. We inoculated a portion of the barrels for malolactic fermentation to help contribute to the creamy mouthfeel. All the barrels were hand-stirred throughout malolactic fermentation, further adding to the roundness in the mouthfeel. This Chardonnay has 69% new French and 22% new American oak.
